At a glance
What's included in Post construction cleaning
Post construction cleaning is one of the most requested services at Dell J Cleaning. After builders, painters and contractors finish, a property is often covered in fine drywall dust, paint specks, adhesive residue, sawdust and leftover debris. That dust settles on every surface and keeps resurfacing unless it is removed carefully from the top down. We begin with a walk-through to understand the scope of the work and any areas that need special care, such as new fixtures, cabinetry or flooring. Debris is cleared, and then we dust ceilings, vents, light fixtures, walls, window frames and sills before moving to cabinets inside and out, countertops, sinks and appliances. Bathrooms are cleaned of construction residue, and floors are vacuumed and mopped, sometimes more than once, until the dust is gone. We work with homeowners, builders and contractors, and weekend post construction cleaning is available by appointment.
